Netflix, BBC iPlayer, HBO, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, Sky, SlingTV, Torrenting, Kodi

$2.88/mo

Speed:

Speed was surprisingly good! We tried from both a UK server and a SWE server – we nearly maxed them out every time! On a 100mbit UK server we managed to achieve 92 Mbit peak and on a 1Gbit SWE server we touched 900(!!)Mbit!

Price:

PrivateVPN in our opinion follows a straight line : Keeps it fair and square. You get what you pay for, and stays competitive at the same time. With a price of 2.88$/month when buying the 1 year plan, you simply cant ignore it.

Customer Support:

PrivateVPN offers 24/7 support via live chat and email. They will go above and beyond to solve your issue, and will even offer to teamviewer on your computer to troubleshoot for you without additional cost!

Torrenting :

PrivateVPN is a great choice for torrenting. Super fast speeds combined with near zero latency and the kill-switch implementation on top, makes it a no-brainer for hardcore torrenters all over the globe!

Number of Servers:

150+ servers in 60+ locations. Honestly, we dont know how they do it. 150 servers sound WAY TOO LOW but on the other hand, speeds were SUPERB. We dont know how they do it, but they do.(they still need to add more servers in our opinion though!)

Mobile Compatibility:

PrivateVPN supports both iOS and Android devices

Number of Devices:

6 simultaneous connections on multiple devices are allowed, all of them with different IP as well.

Logging Policy:

PrivateVPN claims that it doesn’t collect or log any traffic or use of its service. Some people worry that because its a Swedish company, it makies it subject to EU data retention laws and intelligence-sharing agreements. However, since they keep zero logs, even if they wanted to”comply” there is nothing to hand over.

On top of that, you can also pay with BitCoin as an option, in case you want to increase your anonymity.

Ease of Use:

PrivatePVNs‘ desktop VPN apps are simple to use, look beautiful and simple, yet professional. We would love a browser extension in the near future though(would be perfect for less experienced users)

Unblocking Stream Services:

PrivateVPN successfully unblocks all streaming services we tested(Netflix Hulu, and iBBC player). On top of that, it also bypasses The Great Wall of China(needs some manual work though, you can find it on their support center or a live agent can guide you though it!)

Refund Policy:

30-day money-back guarantee if you are not satisfied with speed/service/any reason.

In a glance:

– No Logs, No Leaks, Kill Switch

– 24/7 Chat Support, via live chat/email

– User friendly GUI & Easy Installation, Browser Extensions(chrome/firefox)

-800+ servers to choose from

-Unblocks Netflix,Hulu and iBBC Player, China Firewall

– Very cheap price(aggresive marketing)

-30 day money-back guarantee for any reason.

—> OVERALL: PrivateVPN has the ability to make you”feel like home”. Price is right, and all services are there. We would love to see browser extensions at some point and increase the number of servers/locations to avoid future clogging.
